1999 Eltrex s.r.l. was founded - - having associates with over 15 years of experience in the field of electrical installations and industrial automation
1999 The first major project - the modification of the resistance electrical installations according to the extension needs of the production halls at Zoppas Industries Romania
2000 Moeller authorised distributor - industrial electrical devices and equipment
2001 Member of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Timisoara
2002 2nd amongst companies from Timis county, in its field of activity, in the category of small enterprises
2003 First export contract - for automation electrical panels
2004 10th place in the national chart of companies, in its field of activity, in the category of small enterprises
2005 Second export contract. The export volume exceeds 20% of the annual turnover for 2005
2006 Completion of the works for a new head office with a surface of 2000 sqm, the beginning of a new stage in company development.
2009 Despite the economic crisis, the company registers a record turnover.
2010 Eltrex extends its activity outside of Romania through the contracts with Mercedes - Hungary (2010 - 2011) and Fiat - Serbia (2011).

In 2004, Eltrex implemented and certified a quality management system according to the ISO 9001/2000 standard, which was recertified in 2007.

Eltrex received a certification from ANRE (National Agency for Energy Regulation) for the design of overhead electricity lines and transformer substations with maximum voltages of 20 kV
o ANRE C2A
Eltrex received a certification from ANRE (National Agency for Energy Regulation) for the design of overhead or underground electricity lines and transformer substations with maximum voltages of 20 kV
o ANRE B
Eltrex received a certification from ANRE for the design and execution of interior electrical installations for civil and industrial constructions, at a voltage of 0.4 kV
o Laborator de gradul II
Eltrex is authorised by ISC (State Inspectorate for Constructions) to conduct measurements and tests for electrical installations such as: measuring the stray resistance of the plug to the ground, measuring the insulation resistance and of the strength of electrical cables and panels, other measurements of electrical values.
o CNSIP – Proiectare
Eltrex is authorised by the National Centre for Fire Safety and Civil Protection (CNSIP) to design fire signalling and warning systems and installations.
o CNSIP – Executie, verificare, mentenanta
Eltrex is authorised by the National Centre for Fire Safety and Civil Protection (CNSIP) to execute fire signalling and warning systems and installations.
o IGP – electronical security sistems
Eltrex is authorised by IGP-DPOP (General Police Inspectorate - Police Directorate for Public Order) to design and execute burglary alarm and detection installations and systems.
o Moeller – XEnergy
Eltrex is authorised by Moeller to manufacture Xenergy electrical panels, type TTA, up to 4000 A.
