Eltrex s.r.l. was founded in 1999 in Timisoara and rapidly became one of the major suppliers of professional services in the field of industrial electrical installations and process automation. In addition, in 2003 Eltrex became an important manufacturer of electrical panels, both for the domestic and export market.

In 2006 the works for a new head office with a surface of 2000 sqm are completed, thus a new stage in the development of the company begins.

Despite the economic crisis, in 2009 the company registers a record turnover and in 2010 it extends its activity outside of Romania through the contracts with Mercedes - Hungary (2010 - 2011) and Fiat - Serbia (2011 - 2012).
